Introduction: Reclaiming Our Lives
Welcome to my first blog post! To learn more about me and my goals for this blog, please be sure to read the About Me page! And do take the time to introduce yourself in my comment section!
Through the past year, we have seen so many changes. We have been taken out of the normalcy of our lives. Our beliefs have been challenged. Our normal routines have been drastically altered. Some have endured extremely difficult losses.
Many of us have been aware of a major shift in their lives long before Covid and everything else that 2020 brought. There were challenges that brought to the forefront the issues that we have been carrying with us for much of our lives. We began questioning our careers, our relationships, our connection with our bodies, our sense of spirituality. Our attachment to normalcy took on a different meaning, no longer being something to cling to, but something to bring to the surface for closer examination and questioning.
It is time for us to reclaim our lives. We need to let go of all of the limiting beliefs that we have held onto for so long and to move into who we want to be. We have choices. We can be courageous and strong, even through fear, or we can continue to remain in our old patterns, detached from who we really are. This is a time when we need to support each other and to stand together in love and faith. We are also deeply connected on a soul level. We need to love each other. We need to be our authentic selves, not only for ourselves, but for each other. We can't move forward alone.
We are beautiful beings, created in pure Love. We are meant to be as we were created to be, as expressions of peace and love and forgiveness, compassion and kindness, powerful beyond measure.
