We Are Each A Part of a Magnificent Puzzle


Imagine a magnificent puzzle, of which we are each a part. There are no identical pieces and yet every piece fits together perfectly into the whole. It does no good looking to what the “piece” next to you looks like or is doing because he or she is their own unique expression of the Divine. Each contains the DNA of the whole but serve their own unique purpose. In our imaginings, we have awareness of that whole, even if we do not have complete awareness of what the “other” is doing, as they don’t have conceptualization of what we are doing. We don’t contain the DNA of the other parts, only of the whole. It is not for anyone else to understand us, as it is not for us to understand anyone else. Only the creator of the puzzle knows the whole in it’s entirety. We don’t need to. We don’t even need to know a lot about who we really are individually at this moment. We simply need to act within it, from a place of love, without seeing the bigger picture of who we are.  ~Karin M. Keyes

We All Are Souls in Growth

         Be gentle with yourself. We are all souls in growth. What we know today, we didn’t know yesterday. What we will know in a year, we don’t yet know. We need to show ourselves love… always. There is never any need for self-criticism. Instead, go within and get to know yourself better. What positive purpose are your “short-comings” attempting to serve? How are they an attempt at self-love? How can you address those attempts in a more self-loving way? We don’t engage in negative actions because we want to hurt ourselves. We engage in them because we are already hurting. We are trying to regain a sense of control to alleviate the pain and feeling of powerlessness.  The most powerful thing we can do for ourselves is to surrender. The past is the past. It’s over. The Power of Choice

         We have a choice to make about how we choose to feel every single day. We don’t necessarily get to feel however we want to at any given moment, but we have a say in what we choose to feel.Turning our attention to gratitude instead of focusing on hardship brings us into an entirely different place. Choosing to be strong instead of weak transforms our experiences. Being positive and seeing the good all around us puts the rest in a different place and we can see it from a higher perspective.  "Whichever emotion we choose to feed  strengthens in its life-force energy."
